STORYTELLING THROUGH UX WEBSITE DESIGN

As with any good website design, the website designer communicates the brand’s message, conveys the purpose of the site, eliminates the problem and finds the solution, answers the users questions and promotes the brand’s products and/or services through the narrative.

The website should smoothly guide users through the brand’s story, layout, page structure and organization are very important. It should be aesthetically pleasing from typography choice, selecting fonts that are easy for the user to read, to curating the perfect photography, most users make an assumption about the brand based on its visuals, choosing high quality and appropriate images will help illustrate the brands story in a tasteful way.

In conclusion, that is why when designing and planning a website, every detail is carefully thought out with a clear focus on the brand’s unique aesthetic and its message. The website designer is not just creating content, its storytelling through UX website design.

The Edge Collection is a good example of storytelling through UX website design. The Edge Collection project is a thoughtful minimalistic modern design. I was inspired to create this project because of my appreciation for fashion design and garment creation arts.
