CREATING A HANDMADE GOTH INSPIRED HALLOWEEN WREATH

This year for Halloween I wanted to make posh and unique Halloween décor. I started by creating a handmade goth inspired Halloween wreath.

To create this wicked wreath arrangement I put together the following items I purchased from Michaels;

1 Black Tree Branch Wreath

1 Black Velvet Bow

3 Black Roses

3 Black Pumpkins

3 Spiders

1 Stem of Black Feathers

1 Roll of 22 Gauge Black Wire

I began first by carefully arranging all of these unique elements on the wreath and once I had achieved the desired look and design I wanted to create, I cut the stems down and then tied the bow, roses, pumpkins, spiders and feathers onto the wreath using black paddle wire to secure all of the elements.

This project was inspired by the goth underground culture, it’s dark aesthetic, romantic style and punk influence.

It’s not available for sale. I created only one for myself. Maybe, one day I will design my own collection of Halloween décor and sell them in stores.
